When Cortney’s Dad stood up to do his toast at this Fall Wedding Holiday Valley Ellicottville NY, I just knew it was going to be so sweet. He held back tears as he spoke about the first time that he saw her when she was born in the hospital. He shared about how much he loves her, but knows how much Nick will take care of her. As Nick and Cortney looked at one another through this speech, I cannot lie, again, there I was tearing up.

When I first met Nick and Cortney, I knew that not only were they amazing humans, but their love just radiated off of them. Their sweetness, kind heartedness and joy was something that anyone would be able to tell. We became fast friends because when you’re talking to Nick and Cortney, it’s like you’re talking to old friends. I remember we chatted about amazing spots to eat in Buffalo, the Bills and fur babies.

Nick and Cortney shared the most beautiful, private vows that they had written to one another. There I was again, just crying behind the scenes. I promise y’all, I don’t only just cry on wedding days, I photograph too. They promised to be there for one another when times were tough, to always love one another and Cortney brought up some silly stories and it was so sweet to witness.

It was such an honor to be the ones capturing their day! It was a tad chilly, but the light was gorgeous, and my heart was FILLED because Nick and Cortney always made me feel like a friend!
