Summertime Wedding at Mystic Water Resort

Christopher + Kenna, Limestone, NY

I had been looking forward to this wedding day for what seemed like forever. I haven’t seen Christopher and Kenna since their sweet ALLEGANY STATE PARK ENGAGEMENT SESSION in October of LAST year. I know, I’m crying on the inside. I’ve known Kenna since High School, but sadly, we never really spoke until after we got out. I’ve gotten the chance to photograph her and her two handsome boys. When Kenna had asked me to photograph her wedding my answer was of course, “Yes!”. My first time meeting Chris, he was super sweet, as I knew he would be from the way that Kenna spoke about him. We had a blast together at their engagement session and I just knew from that moment on that their wedding day would be incredibly special.

When I arrived at the Comfort Inn in Bradford, PA, with Molly (my second shooter!) to the groom suite with Chris and his best guys laughing and already having a good time, I knew it was a start to a great day! They were so laid back and excited – it was the perfect atmosphere.

The weather was absolutely PERFECT. Not too hot and not too cold, with the sun surrounding them. All of their friends and family were just so genuinely excited to see them get married – and nothing else mattered! The way Christopher and Kenna love each other is so intentional and special – all of the guests couldn’t help but to follow suit.

The toasts and speeches came and let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye anywhere! Between Kenna’s Mom speaking about childhood memories and Chris’ Best Man saying a few words – I’ll admit, I was holding back the water works. It was so sweet and special to witness – not to mention absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Kenna chose a gorgeous shade of blush as the main color palette throughout the day and it was so gorgeous to see on her bridesmaids.
