NYC Downtown Senior Session

Where to even begin with this Senior Session? Let’s start out with – I WAS IN NEW YORK CITY SHOOTING A SENIOR SESSION. Guys, this is no joke. I was beyond blessed to even be considered to go on this amazing journey!!

When McKenna’s Mom messaged me about doing the Senior Session in NYC, I couldn’t even wrap my head around this opportunity. McKenna loved the thought of going to NYC where it really feels like home for her. She decided to go to some famous spots, not only that she loved, but everyone else would obviously enjoy.

We started in Brooklyn on a famous cobblestone street. Oh by the way, it was down pouring the entire morning. However, McKenna was a trooper the entire time! We were covered with umbrellas and even had to ask a moving truck to move so we could get some shots (he moved and completely understood, which was amazing!).

We then continued on to an art gallery exhibit called Wonderworld. It was an Alice in Wonderland themed, interactive photo gallery. There was mushrooms, a giant tea cup, and much more! At the end, you could even sit and have a cup of tea at a tea party themed set up!

We then finished up with some indoor portraits at the New York Public Library and the famous Plaza Hotel. Our final stop was outdoors in the middle of Central Park. Of course, it started to rain again while we were there, but we didn’t let that stop us!

We ended up getting some AMAZING images from the entire day. Thank you, McKenna and Angela for allowing me to tag along with you in NYC, for the amazing experience, and for a fun trip! Some of my favorites are below. Check them out!
