When I was looking at the forecast for this Allegany State Park Engagement Shoot and it was showing around 45 degrees and sunny.. every single part of me was singing with JOY! You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for Sarah and David. I was so thrilled to be able to hang out with them again for their Allegany State Park Engagement Shoot. 

If you know me, you know I photograph here a lot, but it’s not in my usual locations. That’s because Sarah, David and I threw our hiking boots on (literally) to some different locations for these stunning spots! Let me tell you, I am NOT upset about any of that. It was beyond worth it! I was happy to get out in the fresh air and hang out with these two for an afternoon. There isn’t a lot that you can do to control the weather, so when it was this gorgeous, I knew we were going to make some magic.

Sarah and David are so relaxed, up for anything and they trusted me. It’s hard enough to feel comfortable having your pictures taken in normal situations, but these two made it easy even in the midst of hiking up a hill, sitting on tree stumps, walking over rocks, and being down by the water. I will never forget when they both said “Yes! Please, put us anywhere!” I literally love that and them.
