Dustin + Jessica | Akron, NY

You know how great it feels to be around people who just makes you feel like you can be 100% yourself? It’s the best feeling! That’s how I feel being around Dustin and Jessica! They are incredibly laid back and joyful. The entire engagement session was filled with laughs! I know Jessica because she is my sweet, sweet cousin and when she asked me to photograph her and Dustin’s wedding, to say I was honored was SUCH an understatement. We ventured to the gorgeous Sterling located in Akron, NY for their engagement session and that’s where they are having their incredible wedding day! You may be wondering how all of this worked out. We knew that Jessica and Dustin needed to have their Save the Dates out and ready. So, we decided that this would be the perfect time for their shoot! Dustin and Jessica now live in North Carolina and so it’s not often that we’re in the same location! Jessica made the trip up with their adorable pup, Dustin flew into Buffalo, I drove up and we all made it work. Dustin was such a trooper, since his flight was delayed three times? (Maybe even more!)

We had to shoot during the middle of the day due to schedules, which I usually don’t do, but we made it work! The light was gorgeous, the setting was perfect, and these two made modeling look easy! I can’t wait for the wedding day! It’s going to be April the next time I see these two cuties! I can’t wait to see Jessica as a bride!
