Dan + Samantha | Bradford, PA
Wow, does this engagement session really hit close to home for me. And by that, I mean this sweet, gorgeous and amazing bride to be is my cousin! (Please insert all of the heart eye and crying eye emojis here!!) I cannot believe I am writing a blog post right now for one of my family members. I think this is definitely a first!!
I’ve known Samantha since she was literally born and when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I’m unsure if there has been a more proud moment in my entire photography career. I’m SO excited to be on this amazing journey with her and her sweet soon-to-be Hubby, Dan! What’s funny is I’ve never really hung out with Dan solo until this session and he’s so fun to be around! I knew he was not looking forward to this session (I would be lying if I said that the guys usually are haha), but we laughed, made jokes, and before we knew it, it our time together was over!
We had to do a sunrise session because between Dan and Sam’s work schedule and mine, that seemed to be the only time we could fit it in. And let me tell you, it was COLD. Not to mention, windy, and we were right next to the water. So cold, poor Dan’s hands even started to crack! But, they were absolutely wonderful and powered through, and we got some gorgeous images! I’m so excited for them (and you guys) to see!
Dan and Sam, thank you guys for allowing me to take part in such an important and magical day for you guys! July will be here before we know it! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!
