Wedding Wednesday | Featuring : Moments to Remember

Throughout this amazing journey of being a photographer, I’ve photographed dozens of weddings. One of the things that constantly sticks out to me, is that brides spend A LOT of money on very LOW IMPACT aspects of their day. Now, I’m not saying that this is a bad thing, but if you’re a visual bride, your money could be well spent in other places! What this means is, instead of spending two hundred dollars on tiny little things (like custom candy, elaborate escort cards, and so on) I would put that money towards RENTALS!!! The longer I’m doing this, the more I realize that rentals are one of the main ways to transform your entire wedding day!

 

If you want to invest in something that will not only compliment the overall feel of your wedding, but will really compliment your images as well, your should RENT something! I’m telling you, it’s more affordable than you may think. My all time favorite rental company is MOMENTS TO REMEMBER. Hands stinking down!! I recently got the chance to head to downtown Bradford to check out the shop and it’s so amazing!! After sitting down with the shop owner, Christen, to chat awhile, I’m telling you – you’re going to love her as much as I do!

 

When walking in, I honestly didn’t know what I was expecting..Christen was so warm, funny, and outgoing, it was like catching up with an old friend. I felt like we could’ve gone through four Dunkin’ coffees by the end of this experience together! She went from a job in oil & gas to owning her own business of making brides dreams come true. While driving by, she stumbled across the business that was for sale one day and she knew “this was it!”. Being in downtown Bradford and working there is her favorite because Bradford is truly home to her.

 

There is SO much more that goes into running a rental company than I thought. I LOVED getting a tour and hearing about all that Moments to Remember does! Did you know that you can rent ANYTHING for ANY type of event you’re having? That means you don’t have to just be getting married! I know, it’s CRAZY! But if you are getting married, Christen has the hook up for you! Christen keeps her prices realistic and affordable for all of her brides, while being as hands on or as hands off as you’d like her to be while planning your big day! She’s currently working on some projects with local business women that brides can either rent or purchase customized signs for their event!

 

And y’all, she even travels for weddings!! She’s done weddings in Jamestown, Erie, Letchworth and the list goes on. There is a delivery fee depending on where you’re having your magical day, but I’d say it’s well, well worth it. Speaking of that – she’ll even come and set up your wedding for you. Talk about a stinking win! Imagine walking into your wedding day and everything be set up for you, your family and friends not be stressed about where things go, it’s just done. Everyone’s relaxed and enjoying the day. Now that’s a #win.

 

Moments to Remember offers quality rentals for an affordable price and there are SO many options!! Christen has some amazing NEW pieces in her shop too like new arbor coming, a brand new rustic wall, and even a rolling bar (that she’s hoping more). So if you’re a bride or ANYONE planning an event and you have been considering renting some pieces, go for it!!!
