Wedding Wednesday

Getting ready for wedding day, every bride has things that she cares about. Who wouldn’t? Some brides enjoy spending most of their budget on their wedding dress. Some might lean towards putting more into their venue. Others could spend a ton on stationary. One thing I LOVE  – photographing beautiful invitations on wedding days! But what if you’re a bride who didn’t splurge on your invitation? That’s okay!! I STILL want to photograph it and here’s why!

You may not be 100% in love with your invitation, but I really need it on your wedding day. Even if I’m not your wedding photographer, I’ll speak for your’s and say that they should need your invitation too (I hope)!! The invitation can play a big part for bridal details, especially if your invites are neutral in color.  Don’t even get me started if it has beautiful fonts on it! Some brides have said “Oh no, I forgot my invitation but that’s okay, I don’t need a picture of it!” and this is why I’m making this blog post!
I don’t only photograph the invitation to document what it looked like, I use them as a “Connection Element” for other detail shots as well! That means if you use a similar element or style in your detail shots, they will pair together beautifully when I place them on the blog or if your package includes an album! Yay! I usually use my bride’s invitations for the large suite shot, earrings, and multiple ring shots!!! I hope you found this helpful! I’ve included some examples below to help showcase some different invitations.

I love reading your comments! Thank you for participating in the community. Please feel free to share this post with your friends and family!
