Allegany State Park Winter Engagement

This is such a special shoot!! It is near and dear to my heart because you’re about to meet one of my friends from middle school and her fiancé! When Shawn and Adria got engaged this past Labor Day, I was so happy for the both of them. They are so fun to be around and full of laughter, as you’ll be able to see when you scroll through their images. These two had me laughing the entire shoot!

We traveled to Allegany State Park for their amazing engagement session. Location #1 was a simple, open area with some beautiful pine trees and a beautiful couple standing in front. I was in awe! We captured beautiful images at three different locations and even though it was somewhat chilly, we still had a blast together! At the final location for the final pose, I asked Adria if she wanted Shawn to pick her up for a few images. I described picking her up like “holding a baby”. Shawn looked at me and said “Oh. You mean like Scooby Doo and Shaggy style?!”. I instantly cracked up. He’s going to be so fun on wedding day and I can’t wait! I live for couples like Shawn and Adria.

It’s obvious when you’re around these two that they are an amazing pair. It was an honor to be a part of their engagement session, but it will also be such an honor to be a part of their wedding day!
