A Sunny Winter State Park Engagement Session

Derek + Sabrina | Allegany State Park

This engagement session was supposed to happen about two months earlier, but due to the lack of snow at the time, it didn’t. But you know what? I’m GLAD it didn’t. If it had happened earlier, we may not have gotten this amazing sun, this amazing glow and these amazing locations! They say, “everything happens for a reason” and these images make me believe in that saying even more.

Derek and Sabrina were so fun and easy going during their shoot, it was a blast! Constantly laughing, smiling and the love between them is absolutely undeniable. I captured beautiful images at two different locations and even though it was below freezing, we still had the best time! We had so many obstacles during this shoot, too! It was a Saturday over at Allegany State Park, so of course there were Winter activities taking place. There were people snowshoeing and snowmobiling, but that meant finding locations were going to be a bit of a challenge for us. However, we found two amazing locations and it was the BEST.

I have no doubt that there are wonderful plans for these two and their futures. They are both kind hearted and so sweet. It’s exciting to think of all that they will do together as a team!! I hope you enjoy my favorite images below! And as you scroll through these, imagine being in front of a camera in freezing temperatures and trying to look natural while you’re actually freezing! Thankfully, the next time these two will be in front of my camera, it will be A LOT warmer!!!
