A Winter Wedding At Pitt Chapel in Pennsylvania

Shawn and Adria | Bradford, PA

When I booked this wedding, I knew exactly what I was getting into. The Bradford area in February was going to be COLD! Like REALLY cold. However, I’ve known Adria and her family for years and I just love her family so much that it made booking a freezing cold wedding in Bradford totally worth it! I have never been more proud of a couple for sticking it out and being so physically uncomfortable for the sake of good photos!! It was a challenging day but I couldn’t be happier with these final images (and I hope Shawn and Adria feel the same)!!

The day started at the beautiful Harriett B. Wick Chapel located right next to Pitt Bradford. We had access to the most gorgeous area for photos, but in order to capture those images, Shawn and Adria would have to stand outdoors in 23 degree, windy weather. As you can see while scrolling through their images, they clearly did that and they did it perfectly!! I’m so proud of them! They didn’t complain once about the weather and they were excited and joyful the entire time. Let’s not forget their amazing bridal party, too! They were CHAMPS as they came out into the cold for some portraits.

Surrounded by their family and friends in the romantic room of the Chapel, they read their vows aloud to one another and said “I do”. I loved everything about the Chapel ceremony. As soon as you walked in the door, you could feel the warm, romantic tone. To make things even sweeter, their officiant, Adria’s Step-Father, was the one who pronounced them Husband and Wife.

Overall, I love this sweet couple and family. I can’t explain how much of an honor it is to be asked to photograph this wedding!! Shawn and Adria, thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous wedding!! Enjoy my favorites from your day!!
