Crook Farm, Golden Hour Maternity Session
It was the beginning of April and let me tell you, it was cold. We unfortunately already had to reschedule once due to rain and this night it was windy. When I say windy, I’m not talking like windy here and there. I’m talking it was that night in Bradford when we were under a wind advisory for up to 75 MPH winds. Were we scared? Nah…
I knew these portraits needed to be special not just for Jackie, but for her entire family. They were already a family of four and very, very soon, they would be a family of five. Jackie & her husband, Michael, informed me this would be their last child, so I knew I needed to make this special for them. As Jackie and I emailed back and forth chatting about locations, Crook Farm stood out in her mind. She loved the rustic buildings and look of it all. Can you blame her?
As soon as this gorgeous family stepped out of their vehicle, my heart melted. I was instantly greeted by their two adorable little girls and we were on our way to our first location! While emailing with Jackie, she told me the girls were so excited for their “fancy pictures” and let me tell you, I was excited, too! Their family from start to finish was such a joy to photograph, talk with & laugh with.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their session below! Carlson Family, thank you guys so much for taking part in a Maternity/Family Portrait session. You guys are truly amazing and your family is beyond beautiful. I cannot wait to see your newest bundle of joy!
Literally these two just melt my stinking heart. AND THIS LIGHT. <3 <3
