Colorful, UP Themed Wedding

Every time I show up to a wedding, I think to myself “Wow. How am I so lucky that these two have chosen me to photograph their special day?” I literally feel like it’s not real life. I love the fact that when I show up, nothing is the same as the previous wedding before. The dress. The colors. The emotions. Even the atmosphere is different from wedding to wedding. I love that!!

As soon as my assistant and I arrived to Erika and Josh’s getting ready location of the Kane Manor, I was in “awe”. Not only was every little detail set up to perfection, but the theme from the Disney Pixar movie UP was literally #amazing. Erika and Josh had told me previously about their themed wedding and of course, I knew it was going to be amazing. However, actually seeing it in person – wow! I’ll let  you guys be the judge of that below 😉

I knew walking into this wedding, the one thing that was going to be most different… Erika does photography herself too! So, I knew I just had to do an amazing job, not just for Erika and Josh, but for their entire families. Pressure? Ah, yeah! But, I love it! I  love both the challenges and rewards that a wedding day can bring.
Not only was that a first for me, but Erika and Josh wanted to do a first look! This was another exciting first for me!! What is a first look you may ask? It’s where the Bride and Groom see each other face to face before seeing one another down the isle. This is GREAT for photographers and videographers! The emotions that can be captured are beyond amazing.

The entire day was nothing short of amazing. You could instantly tell that Erika and Josh put so much heart and thought into every last detail. I’m so blessed I had the opportunity to be apart of a special day like this! Thank you, Erika and Josh, for some pretty amazing first in my career!

Ladies, get you a guy who will kiss your hand and tell your you’re beautiful. That’s exactly
what Josh did!!

Beautiful, beautiful ladies.
